
Some Huddersfield Town fans on social media are convinced Lewis O’Brien has now played his final game for the club.
The midfielder was named in the Terriers’ starting XI on Tuesday evening, much to the surprise of many supporters, but they believe this is something of a last dance for O’Brien.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move across West Yorkshire to Leeds United in recent weeks, and if reports are to be believed, they’re closing in on this signing.
Town supporters were shocked to see O’Brien in the XI, claiming that this was going to be his final game before the match had even started, and when the youngster was subbed on 70 minutes, their minds were absolutely made up.
Of course, whether or not this move does come to fruition remains to be seen, but Huddersfield fans seem to believe that the writing is very much on the wall.
