Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Harry Winks going straight down the tunnel after being substituted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Winks was in action for Tottenham in their 2-0 win against Royal Antwerp at home in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

The England international midfielder started the match and played for 59 minutes when Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho decided to take him off.

Instead of going and taking his place in the dugout, the 24-year-old walked straight down the tunnel.

Winks has been struggling for playing time so far this season, with Eurosport reporting that Spurs are willing to cash in on the Englishman in the January transfer window.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League and has scored one goal in five Europa League games for Spurs so far this season.

On Thursday evening, the England international took one shot which was not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 86.2%, took 39 touches, and made one tackle, two interceptions and one clearance, according to WhoScored.

After the match, head coach Mourinho told Football.London that he himself told Winks and other players to go down the tunnel after getting substituted because it was cold, but some Spurs fans are not happy with the reaction from the Englishman and believe that he could leave the club.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter.
