Thierry Small and Yannick Bolasie have been spotted exchanging words on Instagram after Everton’s Under-23s beat West Ham’s Under-23s.

The 16-year-old left-back opened the scoring for the young Toffees, before a goal from Ellis Simms sealed the win.

After he uploaded the following post to Instagram, Yannick Bolasie posted a comment referencing the teenager’s PUMA boots.

He wrote: ‘Them pumas working yeah👀🔥🔥’

In response to the ex-Crystal Palace man, Small replied:  ‘Of course they are 💪🏾😂’

It’s good to see the DR Congo international – who cost Everton £25 million – engaging with the club’s youngsters and having a laugh with them.

We’re not sure if there’s an inside joke between Bolasie and Small regarding the latter’s PUMA boots.

However, as the Daily Mail reported, PUMA have already secured the wonderkid a sponsorship deal, so perhaps the Congolese winger is joking about that.

PUMA weren’t the only ones trying to sign the full-back.

In the same Daily Mail report, it is said that Bayern Munich want the Everton gem, while Juventus, Wolfsburg, Valencia, Monaco and Benfica are also keen.

Additionally, Arsenal have asked to be kept informed about Small’s future.

His goal against the Hammers took his tally for the campaign to four goals, which is excellent form for a left-back.

Everton have a real prodigy on their hands.
