Odsonne Edouard joined Celtic on a season-long loan from PSG yesterday.

Odsonne Edouard has revealed to Celtic’s official website that he received a welcome message from Olivier Ntcham after joining the club.
The 19-year-old striker sealed a season-long loan move to Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday night.
In doing so, Edouard becomes the third young French player to have signed for Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead, with Ntcham, a £4.5 million signing from Manchester City, and Moussa Dembele joining under the Northern Irishman.

Dembele, who scored 30 goals last season, has been a revelation following his £500,000 move from Fulham last summer, while Ntcham already looks an excellent buy.
And Edouard is confident that both of his compatriots can help him settle in Glasgow, revealing to Celtic’s website that the former City man sent him a text this morning.
“I think it’s going to help a great deal,” he said.

“As you know Moussa and Olivier are among the best players in France of this generation, so I can only benefit with playing with them.
“I haven’t really had time to them to talk to them before coming but this morning I had a message from Olivier welcoming me to the club.”
Edouard has been drafted in to cover Dembele and Leigh Griffiths, but he will have to be one hell of a player to displace either.
Even before the Frenchman joined from Fulham, Griffiths was a 40-goal-a-season player for Celtic, and Edouard might have to settle for large spells on the bench.
