Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is keen on proving himself in the Premier League amid interest from Crystal Palace and West Ham United, according to Eurosport.

What’s the story?

Eurosport have reported that Celtic striker Edouard wanted to join Leicester City and reunite with his former manager Brendan Rodgers.

However, that move fell apart.

Representatives of the French striker are now actively searching for a new club.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are the two clubs in the Premier League who are still keen on the 23-year-old.

Arsenal could still make a late move for Edouard, who is reported to be keen on a switch to the Premier League this summer.

Odsonne Edouard to West Ham?

West Ham need to sign a striker this summer, especially as they are playing in the Europa League this season.

Eurosport have credited the Hammers with interest in Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima and PSV’s Luuk de Jong.

Edouard is an option that the Hammers should seriously consider.

The former Paris Saint-Germain striker has scored 85 goals in 176 matches for the Hoops, according to Eurosport.

Yes, these goals have come for a Scottish club, but Virgil van Dijk is also a former Scottish Premiership player and Andy Robertson is from Scotland – both have been success stories in the Premier League.

For the right price, Edouard would be a very smart signing for West Ham.
