Celtic hammered rivals Rangers 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic enjoyed the perfect Sunday afternoon as they not only hammered Old Firm rivals Rangers 5-0 at Celtic Park, but they also secured their seventh league title in a row.
Having embarrassed Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final with a 4-0 win just two weeks ago, Celtic were looking for a repeat performance – and they actually provided even more humiliation to their bitter rivals.
Odsonne Edouard got the party started by turning home Kieran Tierney’s cross, before doubling Celtic’s lead with a powerful finish, and James Forrest added a third before the break.
Tom Rogic got in on the act – as he so often does against Rangers – with the fourth, and Callum McGregor rounded off the scoring to hand Brendan Rodgers a 5-0 victory.

Whilst Rangers were left to reflect on yet another defeat to Celtic, Rodgers’ squad celebrated their latest title on the pitch after the final whistle – and then took to Twitter later on Sunday night.
Goal hero Edouard celebrated another title for the club and his first with the Bhoys, with his brace taking him one step closer to earning a permanent move from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Olivier Ntcham, Scott Sinclair, Moussa Dembele and captain Scott Brown also took to Twitter to celebrate the win and the title, with Dembele claiming Celtic are the ‘Kings of Glasgow’ after once again hammering Rangers.
