The former Tottenham midfielder believes that Spurs made Arsenal look like Barcelona yesterday.
The talkSPORT pundit has added that Arsenal attacking midfielder Odegaard looked like Real Madrid and France great Zidane.
Arsenal got the better of Tottenham 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League game yesterday.
O’Hara said on talkSPORT (8:09am, September 27, 2021): “We made them look like Barcelona. We made Odegaard look like Zidane.”
Martin Odegaard was superb
Odegaard was one of the best players on the pitch at the Emirates Stadium and was superb for Arsenal.
While the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka have been hogging the headlines, we must also praise Odegaard for his effort
The 22-year-old was a creative force for Arsenal and was pulling the strings.
The former Madrid star was very decisive in the final third and worked extremely hard to keep Mikel Arteta’s side on the front foot.
Odegaard played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 88%, took 64 touches, made one tackle and one interception, and put in three crosses.
For Arsenal to have a successful season, Odegaard will have to be on top of his game.
