Martin Odegaard has said on Stadium Astro that he would love Erling Haaland to move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal attacking midfielder Odegaard plays with Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland for the Norway national football team.
Marca have reported that Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United all are interested in signing the 21-year-old striker in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that there is a release clause of €75 million (£63.08m) in the Dortmund striker’s contract.
Arsenal star Martin Odegaard on Erling Haaland
Odegaard said about Haaland on Stadium Astro: “He is a funny guy, a good guy, a good friend of mine, great player as well, of course, so we will see what he will do.
“I don’t know, but if he is coming to England, he needs to come to us, of course. Nah, I don’t know, I don’t know what he will do. He is a great guy.”

Gunners transfer unlikely
In our opinion, it is unlikely that Haaland will move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Now, of course, we know that Arsenal are a massive club and a global brand, and they could well finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
However, we do not see Arsenal being able to convince Haaland to snub interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City to join them.
Madrid and City regularly win major trophies, which Arsenal do not and are unlikely to do so in the next two or three years.
Haaland has scored 18 goals and given seven assists in 18 Bundesliga starts for Dortmund so far this season.
