West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion are leading the race to sign the Leicester City striker, according to the bookies.
Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa scores
Popular bookmakers SkyBET have installed the Baggies as the new favourites in the race to sign Foxes hitman Ahmed Musa, just ahead of Premier League new boys Brighton.
The Nigerian moved to Leicester from CSKA Moscow last summer, for a fee believed to be in the region of £16.6 million, but failed to establish himself as a first-team regular at the King Power Stadium, making just seven league starts all season long.
He did showcase his raw talent, when given the opportunity, however, with his blistering pace and direct playing style the key features of his game.

The 24-year-old would surely flourish if given a sustained run of games with which to gain confidence and a certain kind of playing rhythm, and SkyBET believe that he could be plying his trade away from the East Midlands next season.
The bookies list West Brom as 5/2 favourites to sign the forward, ahead of the Seagulls at 7/2.
Both sides are in need of more firepower in forward areas, but Musa’s style of play would arguably be more suited to the direct manner in which Tony Pulis has instilled into his Baggies team.

The Leicester man’s attributes would compliment Salomon Rondon’s game perfectly, and if Pulis manages to bring him to the Hawthorns, the West Brom fans will finally have an exciting striker signing to shout about.
Brighton obviously cannot be rule out of the running, however, and Chris Hughton’s more free-flowing, exciting brand of football could prove to be more alluring than what is on offer at West Brom.
Musa is under contract with the Foxes until the summer of 2020, so he will not come cheap, but with both clubs desperate for a proven striker, they will surely be willing to spend heavily to get their man.
