Past and present Leeds United bosses Uwe Rosler and Garry Monk have both been linked with the vacant Norwich City job.

The Canaries sacked Alex Neil in March, handing the reins to assistant boss Alan Irvine on a temporary basis.
Fleetwood Town boss Uwe Rosler has been strongly linked with the Carrow Road post, along with Garry Monk of Leeds United and David Wagner of Webber’s old club Huddersfield Town.

David Wagner – 8/1
The former United States international’s season isn’t over yet, with Huddersfield due to face Sheffield Wednesday in the play-off semi-finals next week. A reunion with Webber could be tempting should the Terriers fail to complete the task at hand, although Wagner’s comments about the 33-year-old’s departure suggest it left behind a bitter taste. Former club Borussia Dortmund may also be keen [Bild].
Alan Irvine – 9/2
A bonus candidate. Though he may have failed to guide Norwich into the play-offs, the Scot recorded several eye-catching results during his two months in charge, including wins against promotion-chasing pair Reading [7-1] and Brighton [2-0]. He would be without question the most cost-effective option, although 9/2 seems unrealistically short.
Garry Monk – 5/2
Monk’s Leeds deal expires next month and there has been no update yet as to whether it will be extended, despite his unexpected achievements this season. The Sun reckon a five-year deal is in store, although they also reported he was in line for the chop last month. One suspects he would fancy a move to Norfolk, but only if Leeds screw him over – and odds perhaps reflect this.
Uwe Rosler – 1/1
Fleetwood’s promotion hopes were ended by Bradford this week, allowing Rosler – a target for Webber at Huddersfield last season – to think about his future at Highbury. The German has a year left on his deal there, but is sure to find Norwich tough to turn down if approached. Unless Monk leaves Leeds, consider this one nailed on.
