The Leicester City winger is being tipped for a move to Liverpool by the bookies, with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal also in the running.
Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez in action
Popular bookmakers Ladbrokes have installed the Reds as new favourites in the race to sign Foxes winger Riyad Mahrez, listing them ahead of Spurs in the running.
The 25-year-old was presented with the Premier League footballer of the Year award last season, but his performance levels have dropped this term, after he failed to secure a move to one of Europe’s top sides in the summer.
His displays have been dreadful at times this season, with the Algerian looking totally devoid of any kind of passion or fight.
Mahrez has contributed with just six goals and three assists in 33 Premier League outings for Leicester this season, in comparison to the 17 goals and 11 assists that he chipped in with last term.
With the mercurial winger seemingly pushing for an exit from the King Power Stadium, Ladbrokes list him at 1/2 to leave the Foxes during the summer.
They make Liverpool 5/2 favourites to win the race for his signature, ahead of Tottenham and Arsenal at 4/1 and 5/1 respectively.

Jürgen Klopp will be desperate to bolster his attacking options during the off-season, with his side having become over-reliant on Sadio Mane.
The Algeria international will have to raise his game to the levels of last season, however, if he is to endear himself to the Kop.
The Lilywhites are another team in need of more quality in wide attacking areas, and Mahrez could be a useful option for them, although his suspect work-rate might not be ideally suited to Mauricio Pochettino’s highly-demanding style of play.
And with the summer transfer window just around the corner, this will most certainly be one to keep an eye on.
