The Brentford man has been heavily linked with Everton and Newcastle United, but the bookies think Burnley and Swansea City are also in the race.
Brentford’s Jota celebrates
Popular bookmakers SkyBET have released odds on the next destination of Brentford’s attacking midfielder Jota, listing the Clarets and the Swans as surprise outsiders in the race to obtain his signature.
The 25-year-old Spaniard enjoyed an incredibly successful campaign for the West London outfit during this season just gone, scoring 12 goals and chipping in with five assists in just 21 Championship appearances.

Worryingly for Brentford though, his performances did not go unnoticed, attracting Premier League interest from clubs including West Ham United, Everton and Newcastle United, according to Sky Sports.
And SkyBET believe those three clubs are leading the race for his signature, listing the Toffees as 5/2 favourites, ahead of the Magpies at 4/1 and the Hammers at 5/1.
The bookies believe that both Burnley and Swansea are also in with a shout, however, listing them both at 8/1.

The two Premier league clubs are in desperate need of more creativity in the final third, and Jota would be the ideal signing for both sides, although it could be argued his playing style may well be more suited to Paul Clement’s free-flowing football ideology.
Sky Sports claim that the Spaniard will be available for just £8 million, which would represent fantastic value in today’s market, and whichever team wins the race to sign him will have earned themselves quite the coup.
