Popular bookmakers BETVICTOR have installed Brentford as the new favourites in the race to sign Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack.
With Scott Hogan closing in on a move to West Ham (the Mirror), the Bees will be desperately looking for an able replacement, as they look to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.

And BETVICTOR have seemingly reacted to that, by installing the Londoners as 6/1 favourites to sign the Scotland international forward, ahead of Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers, both at 8/1.
McCormack has struggled since making his £12 million move to Villa Park from Fulham in the summer, and has scored just three goals in 19 Championship appearances for his club.

The 30-year-old is still considered to be a top striker, at Championship level at least, and would represent good business for Brentford, should they manage to bring him into the club over the course of this month.
Dean Smith’s men currently sit in 14th position in the table, just nine points clear of the relegation zone, so they will most certainly need to add further quality to their squad during the transfer window, especially if they lose Hogan, as they are expected to do so.
