Arsenal are the new bookies’ favourites to sign the Everton and Liverpool-linked Sunderland ‘keeper.

Popular bookmakers BETVICTOR have installed the Gunners as the new favourites in the race to sign Black Cats stopper Jordan Pickford.
The 23-year-old Sunderland man is highly in demand this summer, after he showcased his incredible ability last season, during what was an immensely challenging campaign for both his team, and himself personally.
Arsenal already have a plethora of international goalkeepers on their books, including Petr Cech and David Ospina.

The former Chelsea man was criticised for his displays this season, however, with many believing that he is well past his best. The Colombian international has also received his fair share of criticism, with suggestions being made that he is simply not good enough to play for the Gunners.
So a move for Pickford would seem to make sense for Arsenal.

BETVICTOR certainly believe that there is a good chance that the England under-21 international will be plying his trade at the Emirates next term, making them the new 10/11 favourites to sign him, ahead of Everton at 5/4 and Liverpool at 6/1.
Arsene Wenger will really have to push the boat out if he is to bring Pickford to north London, however. The Daily Mail reported just last week that the Wearside outfit will not budge on their £30 million valuation of one of their prized assets, and whether the Frenchman will be prepared to outlay that kind of cash for a goalkeeper is debatable to say the least.
