Southampton fans have reacted on Twitter to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s comments on reported Tottenham target, Danny Ings.
The Saints boss told BBC Sport that it’s ‘not helpful’ that Ings is going into the season with one year left on his contract.
The Telegraph have reported that Spurs want to bring Ings to North London this summer after he rejected a new deal.
It is said that they want to sign him to play alongside Harry Kane and not be a replacement for their sought-after star.
Southampton fans have offered a mixed reaction to Hasenhuttl’s comments on Ings and what they should actually do with their star striker.
Some fans think they should cash in on the player, whilst others could see him leaving during the winter transfer window.
Either way, all of this should be music to the ears of Spurs, and if they are ambitious enough, then they will put a tempting offer on the table for his goalscoring talents.
At this moment in time, Ings is a Southampton player and is preparing the new season to represent the South Coast club.
But it can all change pretty quickly.
If Spurs are serious about keeping Kane then they will put the money on the table to prove that they are serious about moving forward once more with their star man on board.
