Leeds United have mocked Swansea City manager Steve Cooper on Twitter after the match at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The West Yorkshire outfit have got the better of Swansea 1-0 away from home in Wales in the Championship.

Pablo Hernandez scored the only goal of the match in the 89th minute, as the Whites went three points clear at the top of the table.

Following the match, Leeds have posted a tweet mocking Swansea boss Cooper for his comments about the Whites earlier in the season.

On August 31, 2010, Swansea defeated Leeds 1-0 away from home at Elland Road in the Championship.

After the match, Cooper said, as quoted by The Yorkshire Evening Post: “We came here to win, there are obvious areas to exploit against Leeds, although we didn’t do it quite as well with the ball first half, second half I thought we did look quite dangerous.”

Leeds have now reminded Cooper about those comments by posting the following message on Twitter.

Stats
