The Manchester United boss piled the pressure on Liverpool with his latest comments.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho seemed intent on starting the mind games up early this season, when he heaped the pressure on Liverpool, insisting that they should be winning the Premier League title this season, considering the amount of money that Jürgen Klopp has spent at Anfield during the off-season.
Mourinho told reporters how Liverpool ‘have to win’ this season, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“Maybe this season finally you demand that they win. I think you have to be fair and now you have to demand [they win the league]. You have to say the team, with the investments not just this season, last season, that you made in January, that you make now, because that will probably be the record for the Premier League this season, I can’t see anyone else getting close to spending what they have. A team that was a finalist in the Champions League, you have to say you are a big candidate, you have to win.”
Klopp has spent £180 million on four players so far this summer, with Fabinho, Naby Keita, Alisson Becker and Xherdan Shaqiri all arriving at Anfield.
United spent close to £160 million last summer on just three players, and were subsequently backed to win the Premier League title by some sections of the media.

And the Portuguese obviously believes that Liverpool should be given the same treatment this summer, following their heavy outlay on players.
Klopp is undoubtedly on the verge of achieving something very special at Anfield, and Reds fans will surely be confident in their side’s ability to make a sustained push for the Premier League title this season.
