Nuno Espirito Santo is in real danger of losing his job as Tottenham Hotspur manager – but he does have one big fan in Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot.
Speaking ahead of last night’s Tottenham v Manchester United clash, Dalot heaped praise on Nuno’s work.
Dalot was coming up through the Porto ranks when Nuno was manager there during the 2016-17 season.
Dalot told Manchester United’s official website that he thinks Nuno is a ‘fantastic’ coach.
The full back added that Nuno did an outstanding job at Wolves and is doing a ‘good job’ with Tottenham.
“He is a fantastic coach,” said Dalot. “I mean, what he did in Wolverhampton was outstanding. Now he went to Spurs and is also doing a good job, so it’s always a tough manager to go up against because he’s good, he’s very good,” he added.

Nuno now in danger of losing Tottenham job
Dalot may love Nuno, and the Tottenham boss will be glad to have a fan somewhere given the pressure on his job.
Tottenham were truly dismal in their 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United, failing to even register a shot on target.
Just months after taking the job, Nuno could now end up leaving Tottenham.
The Telegraph claim that Tottenham may now sack Nuno after five defeats in 10 Premier League games.
Tottenham’s style of play is dire to watch right now, and even though Dalot may be a big fan, Nuno could be on his way.
