Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media following his side’s superb 2-1 away win at Bristol City yesterday, and delivered an impassioned message to his players and the club’s fans, as quoted by the official club website.
The Black Country outfit’s victory has arguably wrapped up the Championship title, with 10 points now separating both them and second placed Derby County.
The Portuguese will not allow complacency to creep in, however.
The 43-year-old has worked wonders since his appointment as manager at Molineux in the summer.
He deserves great credit for the manner in which he has galvanised a failing group of players, and transformed them into a solid, more unified outfit.
Nuno addressed the media after his side’s win at Ashton Gate yesterday, and delivered a message to his players and the club’s fans, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:
“The three points mean a lot. The way we came back. I’m really proud of the boys. That was for us and those fans. We have a long way to go but we are doing things the right way. We are growing as a team and growing as a club.”
Next up on the agenda for the Black Country outfit is a home game against Brentford in the Championship on Tuesday, and it would take a brave man to bet against Wolves making it 12 league games unbeaten.
