Wolverhampton Wanderers currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s comfortable 3-0 win over Sheffield United at Molineux yesterday, and opened up on why these must be great times to be a Wolves fan, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Th Black Country outfit have been nothing short of magnificent all season long, and currently sit top of the Championship table, 11 points clear of second placed Derby County.

Nuno was handed the reigns at Molineux in the summer, and has worked wonders thus far, implementing an attractive brand of football and instilling a winning mentality into his players in the process.
The Portuguese spoke to reporters after his side’s 3-0 win yesterday, and highlighted how the Wolves fans deserve the kind of performances that they have witnessed so far this season, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“Our fans are happy today because they’ve seen really good football and really good goals from a team that fights and works hard. We always try to improve, and I’m really happy with that. The fans want to see good things, and it’s our job to reward the support of our fan.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday, and it would take a brave man to bet against them racking up another win in their ultimate quest to achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
