Wolverhampton Wanderers were too good for Arsenal last night.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media after last night’s win over Arsenal, and highlighted one particular thing that disappointed him about their performance, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Black Country outfit haven’t been on the greatest run of form of late, taking just four points from the four games leading up to last night’s clash, so the victory over the Gunners was vitally important to their hopes of finishing inside the top seven.
On the most part, Wolves have been mighty impressive this season, especially considering the fact that they were playing in the Championship last term, and they are fully deserving of a place in the Europa League next season.
Whilst they were in fine form last night, Nuno still wasn’t entirely happy, highlighting one area in particular where his team could have done better, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“First-half was very good, second-half not so good, but very well played. If we look at all the game I think the boys worked very hard. The movement off the ball is very important, knowing where to recover, where to go out to create problems and we did really good in the first-half, not so good in the second, we had situations four versus two where we have to decide better.”
Next up for Wolves is a trip to Watford on Saturday, and should they win that game, they will be in a really strong position from which to secure European football for next season.
