Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Derby County in the Championship on Wednesday night.

Nuno Espirito Santo, the Wolves manager looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Millwall and Wolverhampton at The Den on December 26, 2017 in London, England.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters after his side’s win over Derby County in the week, and admitted that Romain Saiss played the second half against the Rams injured, as quoted by the Express & Star.

The Black Country outfit currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, and need just two more points to guarantee promotion back to the Premier League.

Nuno’s men have displayed undoubted quality throughout the course of the season thus far, but what has been most impressive about them has been their ability to grind out results when they have not been at their best.
