Cardiff City and Wolverhampton Wanderers will square off against each other in the Championship tonight.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media ahead of his side’s clash with Cardiff City in Wales tonight, and provided positive news on the injury front, by stating that there is only one senior player unavailable for selection, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit currently sit six points clear of second placed Cardiff in the Championship table, although they have played a game more than Neil Warnock’s men, and they need just nine more points to guarantee promotion back to the Premier League.

Wolves have been mightily impressive all season long, but they will be tested to the maximum against the Bluebirds tonight, with Neil Warnock’s side having not lost a Championship game since New Year’s Day.
Nuno spoke to reporters ahead of tonight’s top of the table clash, and delivered some positive news that Wolves fans will be delighted to hear, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“Diogo is okay and we have all the players available except Bright who’s not an option. Neves and Doherty are important players, they’re usually in the starting XI, so it’s good to have all the options available.”
Nuno’s men can move nine points clear of Cardiff with a win tonight, but perhaps more importantly, 14 clear of Fulham, who do not play until Saturday.
Although promotion back to the top flight seems to be a mere formality for Wolves, the sooner they can wrap up their place inside the top two the better, as nerves become frayed during the Championship run-in.
