Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media ahead of his side’s huge Championship clash with Fulham tonight, and opened up on how he and his staff have been paying attention to the finer details, in order to provide his players with the best opportunity to succeed, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Black Country outfit have been quite spectacular so far this season, drawing plaudits for the exciting brand of football that they have been producing, and a lot of the credit must go to the Portuguese.

The 43-year-old has managed to galvanise the Wolves players, following their disappointing campaign last term, guiding them to the Championship summit.

And the former Porto and Valencia manager explained how a decision to stay in east Anglia overnight, following his side’s win over Norwich, is evidence of how he and his staff are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for glory, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:

“If you think that after a game at 7:45, you’re going to leave the stadium at 11. If you then have to put the players in a coach for five hours, you are destroying the most important time for him to recover, so we made a decision to stay in Norwich one more night. That ensured that the player gets the sleep he needs, that is the best way to recover. It’s one more detail to help the boys.”

Nuno will be hoping that the decision to keep the players in Norfolk overnight will bear dividends tonight, when they welcome Fulham to Molineux, and a victory would be the ideal way to head into the two week international break.
