Wolverhampton Wanderers have started well this season.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Burnley yesterday, and found time to praise the Molineux crowd, labelling them as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Black Country outfit have made an impressive start to life back in the Premier League, having taken eight points from their opening five outings, and they currently sit comfortably in ninth spot in the table.
Nuno spent heavily during the summer transfer window, and many fans and pundits alike are tipping them to make a real push for the Europa League spots this season.
The Portuguese spoke to reporters after his side’s impressive win over Burnley, and offered high words of praise for the Wolves fans, labelling the atmosphere at Molineux as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by the club’s official website:
“We had a great atmosphere at Molineux. Our first task is to make our fans happy so let’s enjoy it. 30,416 that were here today didn’t leave a moment of silence. That was unbelievable.”
Next up for Wolves is a trip to Manchester United on Saturday, and Nuno’s men will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of adding to their points tally.
