Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a decent start to their Premier League campaign.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke exclusively to the Express & Star, and shared how he still is demanding much more from his squad, in spite of their decent start to the Premier League campaign.
The Black Country outfit were quite simply sensational in the Championship last season, and many fans and pundits alike are predicting that they will take the top flight by storm this term.
Nuno brought plenty of new signings into Molineux during the summer transfer window, and they will obviously need time to settle into life at the club.
The Portuguese is a demanding character, though, and he told the Express & Star how he is wants his side to continue improving as the season goes on:
“Still we were not clinical enough. I think we still have a lot to improve in all the aspects. The difficult part in the game is to create chances, then with the quality of the talent and the player things will arrive naturally. But you still have to work and defend very much and stay organised all the time. Stay in the game and don’t make mistakes. Small details is what we are looking to improve.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Burnley on Sunday September 16th, and it would take a brave man to bet against Nuno’s side making it two league wins in a row.
