Wolverhampton Wanderers were excellent on the whole away at Chelsea yesterday.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters after his side conceded a last minute equaliser away at Chelsea yesterday, and shared one thing that disappointed him about their performance, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Black Country outfit have been mightily impressive this season, and they currently sit in seventh spot in the Premier League table, one point clear of eighth placed Watford.

Nuno has implemented a wonderfully exciting brand of attacking, free-flowing football at Molinuex, and they really have taken the Premier League by storm this season.

The Wolves players will be bitterly disappointed after conceding an injury time goal at Stamford Bridge – one that cost them all three points against Maurizio Sarri’s side, and Nuno pointed out how his players should have defended better in the lead up to Eden Hazard’s strike, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“We always try to be well organised. We have to be in the right positions and something was missing. Players should be better positioned to avoid the situation. The late goal was a lack of focus, which is normal after what the team did. Goals always come from situations where you’re not so effective. We’ll take a look, but I’m very proud.”

Next up for Wolves is their FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United on Saturday, and Nuno’s side will have to be on their very best form, if they are to reach the semi-finals for the first time since their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in 1998.
