Wolverhampton Wanderers produced a shoddy display against Burnley yesterday.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters after his side’s poor display against Burnley yesterday, and shared what ultimately proved decisively costly in their defeat, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Black Country outfit maintained their position in seventh spot in the Premier League table, despite yesterday’s defeat, which arguably goes down as their worst performance of the entire campaign.
On the most part, Wolves have been excellent this season, and they still have every chance of qualifying for the Europa League next term with a top seven finish.
They will have to drastically improve upon their perforce at Turf Moor yesterday if they are to do just that, however.
And when speaking to reporters after the game, Nuno bemoaned the manner in which Wolves started the game against Burnley, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“I’m disappointed with the way we started the game because we started very badly. When you concede a goal so early, the game comes much harder after that. It’s clearly something that we can avoid, something that we can be better organised in stopping, so it’s disappointing in that aspect of the game.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Manchester United on Tuesday night, and Nuno’s men will have to be much better than they were away at Burnley yesterday, if they are to beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
