Wolverhampton Wanderers enjoyed a fine campaign in the Premier League this season.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters after his side’s final game of the season against Liverpool at Anfield yesterday, and shared a message of gratitude for the club’s loyal, vociferous fanbase, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Black Country outfit were mightily impressive this season, ending the campaign in seventh spot in the Premier League table, and they will be playing in the Europa League next term, if Manchester City beat Watford in the FA Cup final next week.
Nuno has worked wonders since taking over at Molineux in the summer of 2017, and Wolves are now widely considered to be one of the best footballing sides in the country.
They could not have done it without their fans, however.
Nuno addressed the media after yesterday’s game against Liverpool, and shared a message of thanks to the Wolves fans, as quoted by the club’s official website:
“We have to stick together because this way together we are stronger, we can go in every stadium as we go and just feel like home, like we are at Molineux and we cannot thank the fans enough. Thank you and let’s see again each other.”
Wolves will now be looking to improve once again next season, and Nuno will undoubtedly be keen to strengthen his ranks even further still at Molineux during the summer transfer window.
