The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger is a really exciting talent.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke exclusively to the Express & Star, in the aftermath of his side’s superb 1-0 away win at West Ham on Saturday, and insisted that Adama Traore still has a lot to improve upon.

The Spaniard joined Wolves from Middlesbrough last month, for a fee believed to be in the region of £18 million, and he has already shown glimpses of his outstanding potential.

Traore scored his side’s winner against the Hammers in the third minute of stoppage time, and Nuno will feel as though his team always have a chance of winning with the speedy winger amongst his ranks.

The Portuguese told reporters how he expects even more from the 22-year-old, however, highlighting how he still needs to adapt his game to the way in which the team plays, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“I think he came late (to the club) like everybody knows. He still has things to do. To adapt himself, the team has to know and recognise him better, knowing what he can give us, which is the moment that he can give us. Another player is all about shape of the team when you have different characteristics in the players, the shape stays the same, the game changes.”

Next up for Wolves is a home game against Burnley on September 16th, and Adama will be hoping for another chance to showcase his talent.
