Speaking on Tottenham Hotspur’s YouTube channel, Nuno Espirito Santo has given his honest opinion on Spurs’ new away kit as well as his opinion on the stadium.
Tottenham announced their new kit earlier this month, and it’s fair to say that the new design split the fanbase.
It’s a medley of colour and noise, and while some people will love it, others certainly hate it.
However, Nuno says that he likes the flashy nature of the new away strip.
What’s been said?
Nuno was asked about the new away kit, to which he replied:
“It’s flashy, I like it, it’s good,” Nuno said.
The away kit may divide opinion, but one thing that is almost universally loved amongst the Spurs fanbase is the new stadium, and the new gaffer absolutely adores Tottenham’s ground.
“So beautiful, the best one, I look forward, we have a training session there in the 31st and everyone should go, it’s a unique experience,” Nuno said.
Nuno’s questionable taste
To be honest, we didn’t quite think that the new away kit would be Nuno’s style.
Of course, he could just be saying that to appease advertisers and manufacturers, as the club manager panning the new kit would undoubtedly cause a dip in sales, but it genuinely sounds as though he likes it.
One thing we can’t disagree with him about though is the stadium. Spurs’ new ground is breathtaking, and as he says, going to watch the open training session on the 31st would be a brilliant experience for any Tottenham fan.
