Nuno Espirito Santo has been speaking to the media ahead of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Manchester United on Saturday.

Interestingly, the Spurs boss has revealed he now has a ‘problem’ with one player.

What’s the story?

Well, it’s Bryan Gil who finds himself in the spotlight this week, as the £21.6m forward is still struggling with a hamstring injury.

The Spaniard was forced off in the 25th minute of Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Burnley, and he could miss tomorrow’s game as a result.

Speaking to Football London, Nuno said: “Let’s see. Bryan, we have a problem with. We are assessing. (Ryan) Sessegnon is not involved, still not in the group. Normal knocks after the game.”

That is a real shame, as Gil is one of the most exciting players in Tottenham’s squad.

Hopefully, the 20-year-old is fit enough to play a part in north London tomorrow, as Manchester United are there for the taking.

Tottenham need to use Bryan Gil more

Putting the injury aside for the moment, Nuno needs to use his exciting wonderkid more often – Gil lights up games for Spurs.

Unfortunately, the youngster is yet to start a Premier League game this season, and has only been given five substitute appearances.

His Premier League outings amount to just 57 minutes.

To be fair, Gil has started two Carabao Cup games, while Nuno has also given him three starts in the UEFA Conference League.

However, it’s time for the Portuguese coach to trust his No.11 in the Premier League – he has earned a chance with his exciting displays in the cup competitions.

In our view, a front three of Heung-min Son, Harry Kane and Gil would cause opponents plenty of problems.
