Nuno has said that there’s ‘much more’ to come from Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 28-year-old hitman hasn’t scored in any of his four Premier League games for Spurs this season, after trying to quit the club during the summer.

But he was on target in their EFL Cup win away to Wolves last night, rifling the ball past John Ruddy in a one-on-one.

In the 3-0 defeat by Chelsea last weekend, Kane barely had a sniff and didn’t look like the player who won the Premier League’s Golden Boot at the end of last season.

But Nuno believes that the England international is warming up and tips him to improve in a big way.

He told Football London: “Harry did a very good game. I think he has much more to give and it’s about the team improving and growing together.”

How many goals has Kane scored against Arsenal?

Now would be the ideal time for Kane to start firing again.

That’s because Tottenham are away to Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday and 11 goals in 15 games against the Gunners indicates he really likes this occasion.

Nuno’s side have lost their last two Premier League encounters, shipping six goals to Crystal Palace and Chelsea.

They’re in a major funk but a player like Kane can fire them out of it and it’ll be interesting to see if he’s up to the task on Sunday.
