Wolverhampton Wanderers were denied victory after a late Norwich City equaliser last night.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing draw with Norwich at Molineux last night, and admitted that a tactical change that he made during the half-time interval failed to have the impact that he hoped it would, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit still sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, but their lead over Cardiff City has now been cut to nine points, after Neil Warnock’s side earned a hard-fought three points away at Ipswich Town last night.

With just 13 games remaining in the Championship, Wolves are arguably entering their first real test of the campaign to date, as they look to navigate their way to promotion back to the Premier League.
There have been signs recently that nerves are slowly starting to creep into the Wolves players, and they will have to be at the very top of their game over the coming months, if they are to maintain their comfortable lead the the top of the pile.
Nuno addressed the media after his side’s draw with the Canaries, and admitted that he might have got things wrong at half-time, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“It was a decision we had to make to have more of the ball, put three midfielders in who started the second half very well. But one things give you and the other thing (takes away), you don’t have the three in front. It’s a balance. We wanted control of the game with the ball, possession, threatening, high in the pitch. But then Norwich started putting more people in front, the centre halves go deep, and you have space behind and have chances to kill the game but don’t do it.”
Next up for Wolves is a trip to Fulham on Saturday, and they will have to be at their very best, if they are to leave Craven Cottage with maximum points.
