Kevin Wimmer hailed Son Heung-min as ‘number one’ after he scored a hat-trick during Tottenham’s 6-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Newcastle United defender, and former Spurs man, Kieran Trippier also praised Son on Instagram by stating in the comments section of his post ‘well done bro’, whilst club legend Robbie Keane told him ‘never in doubt’.
It was a second-half blitz from Spurs led by their previously out-of-form star, as he had a big smile on his face when he collected his Man of the Match award.
TOTTENHAM’S FORMIDABLE FORWARD LINE
To think that Harry Kane might not be the main talking point of Tottenham’s forward line is pretty scary given he is the club’s best player.
But, in recent times, it’s summer signing Richarlison and January capture Dejan Kulusevski that have been stealing the spotlight, which has since been taken over by Son.
A player of remarkable quality, composure and finishing ability, the 30-year-old is at the top of his game, the golden patch of his career and producing the goods in the colours of Spurs.
Not only is Son hitting his peak, but so is England captain Harry Kane, and to have those two world-class forwards at your disposal must be special to watch if you are a Spurs fan.

Surely, whether it be this season or the next, those in north London have to make use of all of this and help the club win a much-needed trophy.
In terms of scoring goals, the team can’t complain because they have more than enough of it, it’s just a case of it all clicking when those crunch moments arrive.
The two main blocks people will be expecting Spurs to hit are the two domestic trophies – FA Cup and the League Cup.
If they end up getting knocked out of them early, then you would have to question what else they can realistically win during these next 12 months.
