Football.London have praised Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison for his performance against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby on Saturday afternoon.
Richarlison was in action for Tottenham in the Premier League game against Arsenal today.
Arsenal won the North London derby 3-1.
Mikel Arteta’s side were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes, although Tottenham did not help themselves when they had Emerson Royal sent off in the second half.
Brazil international forward Richarlison was involved in the penalty incident in the first half that saw Tottenham eventually score.
Media reaction to Richarlison performance for Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal
Football.London have rated the former Everton and Watford star’s performance as 6 out of 10 and have praised him for his display, although they have pointed out that he could have done better when he was on the pitch in the second half.

The report stated: “Forced an early save from Ramsdale with a sliding shot from Son’s free-kick. Was a nuisance for the hosts and won the first half penalty after being fouled by Gabriel. Had limited success in the second half before coming off.”
Richarlison was far from his best against Arsenal, but the Brazil international forward did create problems for the Gunners’ defence in the first half.
The Brazilian did make some clever movements and went close to scoring himself.
Not many of the Tottenham players can say that they were great in the North London derby, but, in our view, Richarlison can hold his head high and say that he did give his best and try his utmost.
