Jamie O’Hara has told Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur to secure the transfer of Matheus Cunha from Wolves after his performance against Manchester United on Monday at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s side might have walked away with a 1-0 win, but they were very fortunate that Gary O’Neil, who was taking charge of his first Wolves game, didn’t secure all three points after a very spirited performance and a clear denial of a penalty in stoppage-time.

One of the stars of the show was Matheus Cunha, with O’Hara calling him ‘sensational’ and then telling Tottenham to ‘sign him up now’, as he wrote on Twitter.

Cunha was perhaps the best player on the pitch at Old Trafford, and just like the rest of his teammates, he shouldn’t have been on the losing side and they should have picked up all the points.

The 24-year-old did everything right, other than putting the ball into the back of the net, because, on any other day, he would have scored and set up a hat-trick of goals.

Nonetheless, whilst watching Cunha in action yesterday, this was the following message former Wolves and Spurs player O’Hara posted on his socials.

“Cunha has been sensational Spurs sign him up now,” said O’Hara.

Will Postecoglou add to Tottenham’s forward line?

Life after Harry Kane has begun for Spurs and it started with a 2-2 draw away at Brentford, in which there were a number of quality attacking performances.

Richarlison led the line for Spurs, with newly-appointed captain Son Heung-min coming off the left, but another option down the middle is still needed.

Gent striker Gift Orban has been talked about, with the all-action forward having all the qualities to suit what Postecoglou wants from a forward player.
