‘Now I’m just sad’: Leeds fans react to what Alioski has just tweeted

Leeds United fans have reacted on Twitter to Ezgjan Alioski being pictured alongside Illan Meslier whilst on international duty.

France U21’s take on North Macedonia’s youngsters on Tuesday, in the backyard of his ex-Leeds teammate, and it seems as though Alisoki and Meslier have crossed paths during that moment.

North Macedonia were playing on home soil yesterday, as they beat Iceland 3-1, with Alioski opening the scoring for his scoring – and the ex-Leeds man then posted this on Twitter.

It has left some Leeds fans feeling a little emotional and how they are missing the livewire Alisoki.

The 29-year-old’s contract expired at Elland Road in the summer and he opted against extending his stay.

The versatile player is now plying his trade in the Saudi Arabian league and for Al-Ahli.

Some will feel it’s a waste because they could still do with his talents at Leeds in the Premier League.

During his days in Yorkshire, he was a popular figure with the supporters and was seen as a bit of a crazy character.

It’s probably what the Leeds fans miss about him most because he was that one of a kind player that could lift a dressing room and a crowd.
