Frank Lampard told Match of the Day that he ‘loves’ how Tottenham striker Harry Kane has transformed himself into a ‘monster of a goalscorer’.
The Tottenham man, who went through the group stages of Euro 2020 without scoring a goal, was back to his best during the knockout stages.
Kane has now scored three goals against both Germany and Ukraine – and he will be looking to tear it up when England take on Denmark on Wednesday.
Lampard shared that you aren’t a goalscorer if you don’t sulk when you go through a drought, as he hailed the Spurs academy product.
“I don’t think you can score goals until you have that feeling in your bones (on sulking when you don’t score),” said Lampard.
“You are sort of born with that. You have got to love Harry, haven’t you? You have got to love his demeanour and how he goes about himself.
“His story. His career. Loan, loan, loan when he was younger and now he’s this monster of a goalscorer.
“He scores every type of goal. He connects with every type of finish.”

This is Kane at his best and now he’ll be looking to write his name in history in more ways than one.
Kane is one goal away from equalling Gary Lineker’s record of most goals at a major tournament for England and two from surpassing it.
If he does reach and/or beat that mark then there’s no reason why the Three Lions shouldn’t be preparing for a final showdown with either Italy or Spain.
