David Ornstein has reported in The Athletic this afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur are close to hiring Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach.
The Athletic journalist is reporting this afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur have decided to bring Ange Postecoglou from Celtic as their new head coach.
Ornstein has claimed in The Athletic that “a deal is now expected to be finalised in the coming days”.

Would Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou succeed at Tottenham Hotspur?
In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy backs Ange Postecoglou, then the Australian would succeed at the Premier League, like he did at Celtic in Scotland.
Postecoglou has been hugely successful at Celtic.
Not only have the Hoops have won trophies after trophies with the Australian, but the team have played extremely well and entertaining football at all.
The Celtic hierarchy backed Postecoglou and allowed him to bring in players he wanted, such as Kyogo Furuhashi.
Celtic have just complete the domestic treble this season.
Now, of course, we know that the Premier League is at an entirely different level to the Scottish Premiership.
But, Levy has to trust the judgement of Postecoglou and must back him in the transfer windows.
