Nottingham Forest have appointed Roy Keane as part of Martin O’Neill’s backroom team.

Keane was a pundit for the Manchester derby, and the Forest man was fuming with his old side’s display.
He was then asked whether a move back to Old Trafford would appeal, even though he has a job at Forest.
And he said: “As a manager? [Director of Football]. No, I hope and pray Ole does well.
“Like any manager out there if he’s losing football matches you’re going to be under pressure, but he’s got to be given a chance. That means getting a few players in that he wants at the club, because clearly he wants to get a few out.”
Keane is already under pressure at Forest, as part of Martin O’Neill’s backroom team.
O’Neill has not been a popular appointment at the City Ground since taking over from Aitor Karanka.

Already there are voices of discontent emerging at Forest, but their victory at the weekend should have relieved some of the pressure building.
Forest were in excellent form on Monday, as they dominated against Middlesbrough.
The Reds are next in action against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
