Jerome Sinclair has barely featured for Watford but he would be guaranteed game-time in a Nottingham Forest side struggling for goals.
Just when Nottingham Forest fans thought their season had already hit rock bottom, the Daily Mail reports that Leicester City midfielder Matty James would prefer a short-term loan to a Barnsley side in crisis than take his chances at the City Ground.
However, claims by the same publication that Forest have made the first move for in-demand Watford striker Jerome Sinclair offer some hope.

One of the biggest clubs outside of the Premier League may have no manager, a deeply unpopular owner and worsening results that leave them drifting towards the relegation places but at least they are attempting to halt the slide with some rather astute January business.
The 20-year-old, who became the youngest player in Liverpool’s illustrious history back in 2012, has been used sparingly by Watford boss Walter Mazzarri this season and will be given the chance to prove his worth outside of the Premier League for the remainder of the campaign, the Daily Mail add.
And, as demonstrated by his superb individual strike against Burton Albion in the FA Cup third round, he could possess the pace, the power and the clinical finishing to boost a Forest side who, since thumping five past Barnsley in November, have netted just six goals in ten games.

The frequently-crocked Britt Assombalonga may have featured in each of Forest’s last six fixtures but he has failed to find the back of the net in each and joint-top scorer Henri Lansbury finally completed his protracted move to Aston Villa last week.
Therefore, Sinclair would arrive with pressure on his shoulders to ease their barren run. But it’s an opportunity that he, and Forest, could benefit from.
