Nottingham Forest are said to be interested in snapping up Bakary Sako on a free transfer.

Bakary Sako would be a great signing for Nottingham Forest, even if he does add yet another body to Aitor Karanka’s squad.
He could become the Reds third addition since the summer transfer window closed, with Karanka’s side showing serious ambitions with their transfer dealings this year.
Forest have spent big, and now have an extremely bloated squad, but Sako would be worth bringing to the City Ground.
The powerful forward looks to be one of the biggest bargains still available, and he would add another option to Forest’s forward line.

The Reds posses great poise and creativity in attacking areas, but they don’t have a battering-ram type presence that Sako would be.
Sako is not as good with the ball in tight spaces as the likes of Joe Lolley, Gil Dias and Joao Carvalho, but he still possesses the quality to terrify defences at Championship level.
And Sako could be the final piece of the jigsaw in Karanka’s attacking puzzle at Forest, meaning he would be a hugely exciting addition to their squad.
