Nottingham Forest are on the verge of signing Kieran Dowell from Everton on loan.
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Kieran Dowell from Everton on a season-long loan deal, reports Sky Sports, a move that could prove to be a massive coup for the club.
Dowell is one of the most coveted figures in an impressive Under-23s squad at Goodison Park, a side that won the Premier League 2 title last season as the 19-year-old played a key part with five goals and seven assists.

The teenager was also included in the first team squad for pre-season tours of Tanzania, Netherlands and Belgium, catching many eyes in the former with a 25-yard screamer to beat Gor Mahia.
That was not a one-off for Dowell either, who has a wand of a left foot and Forest fans can look forward to seeing some goal of the season contenders from the midfielder should he make his expected switch to the County Ground.
The Ormskirk-born starlet also played all five matches as England won the Under-20 Toulon Tournament this summer and can perhaps have felt a little hard done by that unlike fellow youngsters Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman, he did not get any first team opportunities under Ronald Koeman in 2016/17.
That is why a loan is quite possibly the best outcome for all involved as Dowell could well be in the Merseysiders’ first team before too long – but before then it is the Reds who will help him on his career path and more than likely benefit hugely as a result.
