According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are interested in a move for PSG’s Keylor Navas.
The Tricky Trees were linked with some of the biggest names in football over the summer, and it seems as though that isn’t going to stop in January.
Make no mistake about it, Navas is one of the very best goalkeepers around, and Forest would be pulling of a huge coup if they could land the Costa Rican.
A three-time Champions League winner and PSG’s current number two, we all know what Navas is about after a decade of incredible performances at the top level.

He’s ageing now, but he still has plenty to offer. In fact, if it were up to Lionel Messi he may still be PSG’s number one.
Indeed, Messi was apparently one of the driving forces behind Navas remaining as PSG’s first-choice stopper last season ahead of Gianluigi Donnarumma, but, unfortunately for the veteran goalkeeper, he’s now been usurped by the Italian.
Navas now has two avenues to go down as he enters the final stretch of his illustrious career. He can join a club like Forest where he’ll be guaranteed first-team football in a top league for years to come, or he can head to a club like Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia where he reportedly has an offer and earn bucketloads of cash while playing at a below-par standard.
It may sound unrealistic to think that Navas could end up at the City Ground, but we’ve seen ageing goalkeepers make this sort of step before – let’s not forget, Julio Cesar was once QPR’s number one, while Victor Valdes was in goal for Middlesbrough the last time they were in the Premier League.
This would be one of the most susprising signings of the window, but it’s far from impossible.
