As per a report by the Athletic, PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas is unlikely to join Nottingham Forest on deadline day.
Keylor Navas to Nottingham Forest on deadline day is off
Just recently, Christophe Galtier had admitted that the club themselves were open to letting the Champions League winner leave, due to his excellent services for the Ligue 1 giants.
With Dean Henderson having suffered an injury, Nottingham Forest were seemingly keen to bring in a new goalkeeper, with Keylor Navas being their primary target on deadline day.

However, the Athletic have reported that any potential deal is now off the table.
The report states that there are ‘issues’ between PSG and Nottingham Forest target Keylor Navas, which are ‘holding up’ a deadline day exit.
It has been mentioned that while a move could still perhaps get over the line, the chances of it are currently ‘unlikely’, with the £198,000-a-week looking likelier by the minute to stay put at the Parc des Princes.
Huge blow for Nottingham Forest
The prospect of one of the finest shotstoppers of his generation playing for Steve Cooper’s side was an exciting one.
Considering No.1’s play a major role in ensuring promoted clubs survive relegation, they could not have been more better equipped in their dreams if Navas joined as a replacement for the injured Henderson.
However, now, it seems Keylor Navas will not be holding up a Nottingham Forest shirt on deadline day.
This is worrying news for the club, who have seemingly been chasing his signature for the past couple of weeks.
And unlike in the case of finding players in other positions, goalkeepers, and especially No.1’s tend to largely be rather settled at clubs.
It may come back to bite Nottingham Forest if they put all their eggs in the Keylor Navas-shaped basket, come deadline day.
