Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier is likely to keep faith with a back three for the Championship encounter with Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

Six points from the last 30 available- and with no wins in three league games – sees Nottingham Forest languishing dangerously close to the Championship relegation zone as they prepare for the visit of Queens Park Rangers.

Ahead of the encounter at the City Ground, Forest manager Philippe Montanier continues to suffer selection issues as a result of injuries to key players.
Forest’s injury list currently sees defenders Jack Hobbs and Michael Mancienne, forward Nicklas Bendtner, and midfielders David Vaughan, Mustapha Carayol and Matt Cash all absent from first team action.

One glimpse of positive news for Forest fans comes in the form of returning centre-forward Britt Assombalonga; who looked sharp and ready for a starting spot after another cameo appearance from the bench in Forest’s defeat to Reading last weekend.
Assombalonga may well replace Greek forward Apostolos Vellios in the starting line-up, supported by winger Ben Osborn and midfielder Henri Lansbury.

Forest’s right side will be boosted by the return from suspension of Hildeberto Pereira, which could mean that American Eric Lichaj switches to the left. The central midfield pair of Pajtim Kasami and captain Chris Cohen are expected to protect a back three of Matt Mills, Damien Perquis and the highly-regarded Joe Worrall, ahead of goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic – who is still to keep a clean sheet this season.
