The Bulgarian keeper was also named Championship apprentice of the year back in 2013.

Nottingham Forest’s young striker Ben Brereton has had a breakthrough campaign at the City Ground.
He has established himself as a top talent in the Championship with three goals in 13 appearances. At just 17-years-old, that’s an impressive tally for the teenager.
His emergence has seen him win an award this month. He was named the Championship Apprentice of the Year, cementing his place as a hot prospect for the future.
But he should be wary, as he is not the first Forest player to win the award and the other has nor progressed like he would have liked.
In 2013 Forest’s young Bulgarian goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov picked up the award. The then 19-year-old was looking like a top young player for Forest.
Now 23, he has not made the impact he would have liked at the City Ground.

He has spent time out on loan with Nuneaton, Mansfield Town and Portuguese side Olhanense but has still only played twice for the first-team.
Not only that, but he has also slipped below Jordan Smith in the young goalkeeper pecking order at Forest.
Brereton will hope his career does not go in a similar trajectory over the next four years.
