He told the Nottingham Post: “All I am thinking right now is that I want to train hard and give my best in every game. But of course Nottingham is already in my heart. I cannot hide that Benfica is my home, I grew up there and I feel at home there. But, wherever my future lies, whether it is in Nottingham or in Benfica, I will be happy.”
The Portugal under-20 international also compared Portuguese football, to the hard hitting style of the Championship and believes that he will become a better player for his experience in English football’s second tier.

“Of course the English Premier Division and Championship are very physical and intense. The Portuguese football is more technical and the intensity is lower.”
