Nottingham Forest have started pre-season training.

Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga has suggested on social networking site Twitter that the mood in training on Monday was good.
Forest started pre-season training on Monday, with Assombalonga revealing on Twitter that there was banter among the players.

Forest are one of the biggest clubs in England, but in recent years they have become also-rans in the Championship.
Things, though, could change next season, especially now that the Reds have finally appointed a new manager.
Philippe Montanier has been placed in charge of Forest, who failed to finish in the top 10 of the Championship during the 2015-16 campaign.

A top-six finish in the league table next season may not be possible, but Forest should at least be able to fight for a spot in the top 10.
Assombalonga will be a key player for Forest next season, now that he has fully recovered from his injury problems.
The 23-year-old is one of the best strikers in the Championship, and he will be determined to start banging in the goals.
